Our Goals
At Innovators Prep, our mission goes beyond academic learning—we are committed to nurturing the whole child. Whether in our 4410 Preschool Special Education or our private preschool program (ages 2–5) classes, we strive to create inclusive, responsive, and supportive learning environments where every child can thrive.
Our strategic goals guide us in fulfilling this mission:
- Promote creative and critical thinking by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving through hands-on learning experiences.
- Support language development for all learners, including multilingual children and those with communication needs, through intentional, developmentally appropriate interactions.
- Be culturally responsive, honoring each child’s background, identity, and experiences, and integrating diverse perspectives into our curriculum.
- Follow children’s lead and interests to build engaging, personalized learning experiences that foster intrinsic motivation and joy in learning.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with caregivers through open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect to support each child’s growth and development.
- Promote positive self-esteem and independence by recognizing each child’s unique abilities and encouraging them to take initiative, make choices, and express themselves confidently.
- Cultivate respect for oneself and others, fostering empathy, kindness, and inclusive social interactions among peers and adults.
- Encourage positive relationships between children and adults, creating emotionally supportive classrooms where children feel safe, valued, and heard.
- Facilitate the development of healthy habits, including nutrition, hygiene, movement, and emotional regulation, through daily routines and intentional teaching.
- Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth using developmentally appropriate practices that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with developmental delays or disabilities.
