Our Approach

At Innovators Prep, our mission extends beyond mere academic excellence. We are dedicated to fostering holistic development in children, cultivating lifelong learners who are equipped not just with knowledge, but also essential life skills. Our strategic goals help us stay focused on this mission:

  • Individualized Instruction
Lessons are adapted to meet each child’s IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals while promoting engagement through play, movement, and multi-sensory activities.

  • Collaborative Team Approach
Teachers, therapists, and support staff meet regularly to review progress, adjust strategies, and ensure consistency across all learning environments.

  • Family Engagement
We believe families are our partners. We offer frequent communication, home learning resources, and workshops that empower parents to support their child’s development at home.

  • Behavioral & Social-Emotional Support
Our team implements strategies that promote self-regulation, positive peer interactions, and emotional resilience.

Remote Emergency Plan for Preschool Special Education Program at Innovators Prep

1. Instructional Continuity: Innovators Prep’s preschool special education program will ensure continuity of instruction through a structured remote learning plan that includes daily schedules and learning activities tailored to each child’s IEP goals. Teachers will provide a mix of live and recorded lessons, ensuring accessibility for all students.

2. Communication Protocols:Regular communication will be maintained with students and families via email, phone calls, and video conferencing platforms. Weekly check-ins will be scheduled to discuss student progress, concerns, and to facilitate family engagement.

3. Training and Support for Staff: All instructional staff will receive training on remote teaching tools and strategies that cater specifically to the needs of students with disabilities. Continuous professional development will be offered to support effective implementation of remote learning practices.

4. Access to Resources: Families will be provided with necessary resources, including digital tools and printed materials, to support learning at home. This includes access to educational apps, virtual therapy resources, and instructional videos tailored to each student’s learning needs.

5. Progress Monitoring: We will implement a system for tracking student progress during remote instruction, utilizing digital platforms that allow for the collection of data on student engagement and learning outcomes. Regular assessments will be integrated into remote learning activities to inform instruction.

6. Emergency Contact Information: An updated directory of emergency contact information for all staff, families, and service providers will be maintained and shared with families. This will ensure immediate assistance is accessible in case of urgent needs or concerns regarding their child’s learning during the remote instruction period.

This plan will be reviewed regularly and adapted as needed to ensure the effective delivery of education and support to our preschool special education students during emergencies.
